Trivia
During the heavy cutting, some community horses fell on the cutting room floor. They stay in the archives... for now.

Again, like Foggytown, Left In Town was released LIVE during a Ken&Roger-Show on TMOA. Roger was the first one to review it, only a few minutes after release, cause he already saw the movie in advance.

Three people were allowed to see the movie before release: KirinRiotCrash, Ken White (kuroken) and Roger (rbj2122212112). Reason: Because they couldn't catch the release, while they were hosting their show.

Ken White encoded the 'elevator'-song as ringtone for his cell phone.

The original soundtrack is available in the FoDooG Shop (featuring a lot of songs from Come On, Showdown in Foggytown, Left In Town and other FoDooG Films movies): www.cafepress.com/fodoogshop

The movie ends with the exact words and the exact VoiceOver-file, that started the whole thing: "Morning" by the Horse, used in the Trailer to Come On. So, it really came to full circle!

While it sounds like it was recorded in one piece, Ken and Roger recorded their opening lines seperatly. Great work here!

The first cut of the movie was 22 minutes. The second one 20 and the final cut 18 minutes long. Looking back, it tremendously helped the movie in its pace.

Every single shot in this movie was custom camera placed. No predefined shots were harmed,... ehhhm used.

Several songs of Flanagan's Fog were used as basis for the soundtrack. (Please Me, Who's Gonna Love You When You're Dead and You said, for example.)

There is no song called Left In Town. Yet.

About the Movie
Release date: June 25, 2006
Coming full circle. That's what they wanted. That's what they did. With the anarchic humor of Come On and the thoughtful dialogues of Showdown in Foggytown, FoDooG Films delivered the final installment in the Horse-Trilogy: LEFT IN TOWN

The story: Mr. Lennox awakes in a hospital. Uh? Was everything a dream? All this western stuff? And the horse? But only a short time and a chat with the other three guys on the continuing quest for insanity later, things turn out pretty chicken-infested. Dr. Villian is back, and he wants revenge. So, why not turn everyone on earth into chicken? Sure thing, Dr. Villian.

Like in Showdown in Foggytown, StevenKreg and Sleeves return in cameo roles, together with a lot of 'horses', that claim what they are.

A huge amount of work went into Left In Town. Knowing, that this was the hardest movie to make in compartion to Come On and Showdown In Foggytown, Frank Flanagan explored all new technical ways, the 'Stunts & Effects' package could deliver. Overlays and free camer movement. This movie HAD to beat Showdown in Foggytown AND Come On. Going out with a blow. And some critics said it did.

A thing that heavely helped Left In Town to recreate the mood and feeling of Come On was the getting back to random, anarchic plotsetting. Noone could foresee how a scene would end, how a question would be answered, a plothole solved.

Also, Frank Flanagan got into high gear with the original score. The original soundtrack to Left In Town made even the creator proud to the latest. "I love this pieces of music. I really wondered how well they fit together in the end and if you wanna know my favourite song in this movie... listen to the tune during the endcredits" said Frank Flanagan.

On the shadow side, FoDooG Films encountered heavy production problems, which made unsure, if they could be able to hold the release date. At all costs they wanted to prevail the sound-error that occured with Showdown in Foggytown. (And this cost was an RAM upgrade to 2GB)

While it marks the end of the Horse Trilogy by FoDooG Films, this movie also showed the highest comedian perfection (at least in the eyes of its creators), that could be achieved with the Horse. Shortly after the release of the movie, Frank Flanagan declared his departure from Horse-comedies... but never say never, say ever the same.
